NJ Pet Sitters would like to recognize Traci from Rutherford , New Jersey as Pet of the Month for October 2011. Traci is a 16.5 year-old Schnauzer, who fights the fight every day for her owners Kristin and Justin. Traci has had a very difficult year fighting Cushings and Arthritis, and is also battling Vertigo for the past month. She is a tough little girl who keeps surprising everyone, beating all the odds. She is the sweetest Schnauzer we have met. Great Job To Traci for being a wonderful companion and friend to us here at NJ Pet Sitters.
Bailey is our Pet of the Month for March 2011 from Teaneck in Bergen County, New Jersey. He is a remarkable 14 year-old Labrador who is a retired “search” dog. Bailey loves to do extra sniffing on his walks with us, and remember his working days. Bailey always greets us at the door for his daily dog walk with a stuffed teddy bear in his mouth, just making our day. Bailey takes his medicine for thyroid and arthritis like a trooper. We love his owner as well because she is careful with Bailey’s diet which can be hard with Labs, keeping him trim and healthy. At NJ Pet Sitters LLP we love to see such responsible and loving pet owners!
Monty from Pompton Plains in Morris County New Jersey is NJ Pet Sitters Pet of the Month for February 2011. Monty is a joy! Seeing this well-built Belgian Malinois for daily dog walks really makes our day. He puts a smile on our faces when he runs out of his crate and does his trademark “spin”. We love being able to spend time with Monty boy – needless to say the Belgian Malinois is now one of our favorite breeds!
Piper from Wayne, New Jersey is NJ Pet Sitters Pet of the Month for January 2011. Piper loves her new baby brother and she is doing very well adjusting to sharing her home. She always jumps for joy when Beth comes over to care for her. She even tries to get her baby brother to chase her and play with her by giving him her toys. She is a very happy go lucky little lady who always loves her dog walks and loves to give kisses!
Congratulations to Coco in Lyndhurst – NJ Pet Sitters Pet of the Month for December 2010! Coco, a once dog-aggressive puppy, learned to be good on her walks when she sees other dogs. Her behavior was modified through proper training from her owners, and our efforts to reinforce the correct behavior. She now goes for walks in the neighborhood like every other dog. Coco is proof that American Pit Bulls get a bad rap, as she is one smart, obedient and loving dog!
Congratulations to Oliver in Pine Brook – NJ Pet Sitters Pet of the Month for November 2010! This little guy is a real trooper! Oliver is 13 years old and has his bad days and his good days. I know he looks forward to his dog walk most of the time, because he barks by the balcony window sometimes when he sees me pull up. Most of the time he is sound asleep on the couch in his favorite spot. The past few weeks he has had some pretty bad days. He had tummy issues late one night and tried to go upstairs (hearing and sight failing) he hurt himself somehow and ended up bleeding from his front paw. His mom was so upset. A trip to the vet proved a nail had ripped from his pad/paw area and he had minor surgery to make it better. He is now sporting a blue bandage with smiley faces on it. The first day after the bandage he was carried spot to spot by his mom and myself to do his business. The next day he limped but wanted to walk around the block. Oliver is a great dog and I look forward to visiting him every day!
Congratulations to Sadie – NJ Pet Sitters Pet of the Month for October 2010! Sadie was a little buzzing bee for Halloween and looked adorable! She is happy go-lucky, very lovable and always sits in our laps and loves to give kisses. She loves to sniff around everywhere on her dog walks!
